Bunkers Hill Holiday Farm is ‘the perfect rural retreat’
Tucked away in a secluded position within 17 acres of farmland, the farmhouse along with its extremely large garden and terrace offers guests far reaching panoramic views across open Bronte countryside. This holiday property truly provides a haven from which to escape the pressures of everyday life, providing the ideal environment for all ages whether you’re a walking group, a family or even two families on holiday together it’s all here – plenty of room inside (sleeps 10) and acres of space outside!
Locality
The Trough of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales are all close to hand, not forgetting the historic town of Howarth - famous for the Bronte Family which is only 2 miles away. Moorland, valleys and views are all around. Alternatively the bustling historic market town of Skipton along with it’s Castle and excellent selection of shops is only 8 miles away. The nearest shop and pub to the farm itself are a perfect 1 mile away.
Steeped in history
The farmhouse itself dates back to the 1800’s and still retains several original features such as exposed beams and traditional fireplaces, this is complemented by some select classic additions such as a traditional Aga oven
Entertain yourselves at the farmhouse
As well as providing the obvious TV / DVD player / Hi-fi requirements, we boast our own Games room including a full size Pool table and a Darts board. In the kitchen you can experience Aga Cooking and with 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, long corridors and a large kitchen / dining area there is more than enough room for hide and seek! or after a long day exploring all the various tourist hotspots of nearby Haworth, The Bronte Country and Skipton - simply sit down and play your favourite board game (Trivial Pursuit, Chess, Scrabble or Monopoly - all provided) or simply put your feet up in front of the log fire with a glass of wine!

Fresh air - take a walk - explore the fields - watch the birds spot the
wildlife - make the most of the large private gardens and play field - have your family sports day - play 'Lawn Arrows',throw hoops - play rounders - kick a football - throw a frisbee - feed the chickens - or say hello to the sheep! - enjoy a barbeque on the large patio and end your day watching the dramatic sunset from the top of bunkers hill.
